FIELD: technological processes, metal working.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to metal-cutting lathes, namely to devices for automatic control of lathe and transfer device. Metal-cutting lathe (1) comprises control device (3) and interface (4). Control device (3) monitors and controls conditions of mechanical processing operation of metal-cutting lathe (1) and transfers information about conditions of mechanical processing operation of metal-cutting lathe (1) through interface (4) into transfer device (11) for actuation of transfer device (11). Specified transfer device (11) receives information via interface (14) installed in it, and processes specified information with the help of control device (13) installed in it, and reacts in response to information, therefore, printer interface is used as interface (4) of metal-cutting lathe (1).
EFFECT: simplified exchange of information between metal-cutting lathe and transfer device.
