SUBSTANCE: invention substance involves analysis methods for mixed meningococcal saccharides of differing serougroups, particularly in combination of saccharides from serogroups C, W135 and Y, involving sialic acid, glucose and galactose content analysis. Glucose and galactose results are used directly for quantitative determination of serogroup Y and W135 saccharides respectively, while combined content and glucose and galactose is deduced from sialic acid content to determine amount of serogroup C saccharides and content of free saccharides in conjugated vaccines.
EFFECT: simplified quality control for vaccines containing capsular saccharides of differing serogroups.
