FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: following steps are performed: inspection implementation using radiation scanning of the inspected vehicle to obtain the image of the inspected vehicle by radiation scanning; retrival of the information about the vehicle characteristics; comparing the information about the characteristics of the inspected vehicle with reference vehicles characteristics, stored in the memory unit, the choice of the reference characteristic of the vehicle, the most appropriate to the information about the characteristics of the present vehicle and detecting the most suitable reference image, obtained by X-raying, based on a corresponding relationship between the vehicle's reference characteristics and reference images, obtained by X-raying, stored in the memory unit; determination of the first differential image area, obtained by radiation scanning of the most suitable reference image, obtained by X-raying, by comparing the image, obtained while inspecting by radiation scanning of the inspected vehicle, with the most suitable reference image, obtained by X-raying. The vehicle inspection system is also disclosed.
EFFECT: provision of opportunities to differentiate in the structure image of the vehicle itself and the loaded goods.
