SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of making superconducting thin films with regions with different values of critical current density required for making high-temperature superconducting devices. In the method of making a superconducting thin film, with regions with different values of critical current density, before depositing the film onto a substrate, mechanical stress is created by exposing the required regions on the substrate to pulsed laser radiation of nanosecond duration which is focused to given dimensions. To form regions with regulated critical current density on the film ranging from 103 to 104 A/cm2, energy of exposing the substrate ranging from 500 to 1000 J is used. The superconducting film is then deposited through laser ablation.
EFFECT: design of a method of making a superconducting thin film, with regions with different values of critical current density required for making components of high-temperature superconducting devices, which increases stability of operation of said components, reliability and performance reproducibility, while simplifying the technology of making weak connections.
