FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: in the hodoscope, optical elements are in form of scintillating radiation converters, and spectrum-shifting elements are in form of plates or lie on opposite faces of the surfaces of the hodoscope in mutually perpendicular directions, wherein the plates are in optical contact with only the faces of rods.
EFFECT: large number of recording channels, simple technology of making scintillating elements.
