FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in bactericidal ultraviolet (UV) lamps, including amalgamate, designed for disinfecting water and air media. The low-pressure gas discharge lamp is made with a tubular bottle of varying inner cross section. Variation of the cross section is achieved due to several projections on the walls of the bottle directed inside the bottle.
EFFECT: increased optical and electrical power, as well as reduced sensitivity of UV radiation power to ambient temperature.
