FIELD: production processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to machine industry, namely to production of beaters for fodder grinders meant for refinement of grain and soft products. Platy beater for fodder grinders contains plate with two holes and edges reinforced by hard alloy. Edges are reinforced from both sides of plates in cross direction by different composition, at that from one side edges are reinforced by hard alloy with thickness 0.7-1.5 mm at length not less than to hole axis, and from the other side - at the same length by sintered material with thickness 0.5-0.8 mm.
EFFECT: invention allows to increase service life of beaters.
