SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to control radiation source. Proposed device intended for inspecting vehicle moving through examination tunnel comprises first pickup arranged behind radiation source in direction of vehicle motion and designed to detect said vehicle, second pickup arranged above ground in examination tunnel between first pickup and radiation source and controller receiving signals from said first and second pickups and controlling radiation source so that the latter actuates radiation flux only in case aforesaid first and second pickups detect the vehicle.

EFFECT: faster truck inspection, higher safety.
