SUBSTANCE: invention is a small portable device for capturing images, triggered by combining detection of capturing conditions (for example changes in movement, temperature and illumination level) and a relative stable period as detected by any accelerometre. Capture of a clearer image of the environment during an event of interest is expected owing to triggering by combining the detected capturing conditions and the detected state of stability.
EFFECT: small size of the said device makes possible its integration in common portable items such as MP3 players, wallets, clothes, headgear, knapsacks, necklaces, spectacles, watches, bracelets, chains and other articles carried by a person.
