FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to flour-and-cereals industry and can be implemented mainly at oats processing plants. The procedure for thermo-barometric treatment of oats grain consists in moistening grain with water, in softening during 30 minutes, in drying and in husking. Oats grain drying is carried out by surface heating while grain is being transferred along a thermo-barometric chamber by means of rotating cylinder with blades at excess pressure 1.2 MPa and at temperature of chamber walls and cylinder 220°C during 1 min. Further oats grain is subject to aerodynamic husking by supplying grain through nozzles together with air flow under excess pressure 1.2 MPa in a closed husking chamber with successive drop of excess pressure.
EFFECT: reduced duration of process of oats grain treatment, reduced power and material expenditures and increased output of whole kernel at reduced prime cost of oats cereal production.
