FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: to detect protein-lipid packs in erythrocyte membranes of various maturities, erythrocytes of healthy people who have not undergone any diseases within last 6 months are divided by the morphological principle: discocytes, echinocytes, target and degenerate forms. Each group is arranged as a gallery. With using a computer program Bio Vision, high-packed protein-lipid complexes are separated in the membranes of the separate erythrocytes making the gallery. Their area and percentage to the total area of the membrane. In the discocyte membranes, the packs make 1.403±0.004%; in echinocytes - 2.826±0.03%; in target erythrocytes - 4.476±0.008% and in degenerate membranes - 14.852±0.82%.
EFFECT: application of the method allows to estimating the membrane packing depending on structural changes of erythrocytes, distinguishing between discocytes and echinocytes, target and degenerate forms.
