FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used to restore worn and strengthen working surfaces of parts, such as bodies of revolution. Powder material is sent to zone of welding from dosing hopper along pipeline. Welding current is passed from transformer via electrodes and part with their forced cooling by cooling liquid. Supply of powder is carried out with the help of transporting air along inner pipeline covered with outer pipeline, between which air is supplied to protect powder from cooling liquid. Passing of welding current is done in pulses. In pauses magnetic locking of powder particles is done in pipeline with the help of electromagnetic coil installed on tip of pipeline.
EFFECT: powder losses are reduced, and possibility is provided for cooling of part and electrodes.
