FIELD: chemistry, biology.

SUBSTANCE: synthetic genes which code modified proteins E1 and E12 of the red rot virus provided. In order to produce these proteins in plants, synthetic genes are incorporated into the viral vector based on the potato virus X genome. Plants are infected with agrobacteria containing the obtained recombinant viral vector. Reproduction of the viral vector and synthesis of the product on a high level take place in the plants.

EFFECT: production of E1 and E12 using designed viral expression systems in Nicotiana benthamiana plants can be used to make a potential recombinant vaccine for red rot.
