FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: crank-and-slot mechanism consists of link and of slide block located between opposite sections of link. Contact surfaces of the link and the slide block are equipped with toothed racks, where in between there are arranged rollers with synchronising gears permanently engaged with the toothed racks of the link and the slide block. Contact surfaces of at least one of interacting links of the mechanism (the link or the slide block) are located on separate working contact elements made in form of parallelepiped and installed between the racks. Both end surfaces of the contact element not closed by the racks have sections inclined to contact surface. Contact elements are secured with fixtures inclined to contact surface; the said fixtures actuate inclined sections of the contact elements and hold down the latter to the link of the mechanism.
EFFECT: increased reliability of mechanism operation; improved processability due to selection of contact elements with required thickness.
