FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. Instrument for widening wound by means of cut contains handle and is made from metal rod. Metal rod has diametre not more than 4 mm, is curved at the distance 1/3 from distal end on arch with radius 40-45 mm and ends with ball-shaped bulge. Bulge diametre is 1 mm longer than rod diametre. Handle is made ring-like and is located on proximal end of metal rod. Plane of handle ring is perpendicular to plane of rod distal end arch and plain of cutting blade which lies in arch plane and is fixed to straight part of rod before beginning of arch.
EFFECT: ensuring dosed widening of laparoscopic wounds.
