FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of purifying protected nonionic oligonucleotides involves the following steps: a) -preparation of a protected oligonucleotide solution in which at least one solvent A has lower boiling point that that of solvent B, -heating the solution to at least 30°C but lower than boiling point of at least solvent A,- addition of solvent B until visible precipitation of substance in the solution, wherein said solvent B is an alcohol containing 1-6 C atoms, or a diol containing 2-6 C atoms, - cooling the solution while stirring until formation of supernatant and a precipitate, - removal of supernatant or b) - preparation of solvent B, wherein said solvent B is an alcohol containing 1-6 C atoms, or a diol containing 2-6 C atoms, - heating solvent B to over 30°C but at least lower than boiling point of solvent B, - addition of the protected oligonucleotide solution to at least one solvent A until visible precipitation of substance in the solution, cooling the solution while stirring until formation of supernatant and a precipitate, removal of supernatant.
EFFECT: said method is effective, particularly for large-scale synthesis of oligonucleotides and their intermediates.
