SUBSTANCE: process cartridge which can be removed from an image forming apparatus has an electrophotographic photosensitive element, an element for transporting the developer for developing an electrostatic latent image formed at the electrophotographic photosensitive element, a developer frame element which supports first and second longitudinal ends of the developer transporting element with possibility of turning, a frame element for the photosensitive element which supports the electrophotographic photosensitive element at the first end with possibility of turning and supports the developer frame element at the first end with possibility of rotation, and a carrier element attached to the frame element of thee photosensitive element at the second end, wherein the carrier element supports the electrophotographic photosensitive element at the second end with possibility of turning and supports the developer frame element at the second end with possibility of rotation. The carrier element used in the process cartridge and a method of assembling (2 versions) and dismantling (2 versions) the process cartridge is realised using the device given above.

EFFECT: design of a process cartridge having fewer components and which can be easily assembled and dismantled.
