FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of animal feeding. The composition for cat alimentation contains at least about 65 wt % of meat carbohydrate in an amount of less than about 10 % of the composition weight, from 2 wt % to about 10 wt % of a fibrous mixture containing one or more kinds of fibre; additionally the composition contains a sauce. The composition is represented by a basically solid mass taking the shape of a vessel. The idea of the method for preparation of the cat alimentation composition consists in mixing the meat and fibrous components with a heated sauce during some time at a temperature sufficient for a homogeneous mass production.
EFFECT: invention allows to produce a composition suitable for cure or prevention of cat diabetes.
