SUBSTANCE: method of preparing comprises: mixing a composition of dry ingredient, containing the protein of the composition and the alginate composition to provide a first mixture; mixing the first mixture with a thickening composition for the reaction of gelation, where the thickening composition comprises a source of calcium ions; and processing of the product of gelation reaction for providing food product or asymmetric restructured meat pieces, where the food product has a stable structure to the autoclave, combining the food product with the composition of the gravy of the composition to provide a feed composition for domestic animals. The feed composition for domestic animals comprises protein in an amount less than 25% by weight of the feed composition for domestic animals, based on dry substance.
EFFECT: use of the invention enables to expand the range of feed for domestic animals.
