FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed composite material can be used for thin membranes. Composite material comprises first material that has quasi-periodic system of vertical grooves (nanogrooves) in the range of 20 to 400 nm. Nanogrooves represents grooves arranged between flanking elongated elements. Said nanogrooves are filled, at least partially, with second material that features physical-chemical characteristics notably different from those of the first material.
EFFECT: super thin membranes that feature higher efficiency and reliability.
