FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foodstuff mincers and can be used to make foodstuff rhombs. Proposed device comprises cubiform glass with its lateral walls having lengthwise and parallel cutouts to receive two sets of knives moving in opposite directions. Base accommodates two pairs of toothed racks for said glass to be arranged there between. Said toothed racks are arranged parallel to each other and spaced apart to place one of aforesaid sets of knives there between. Each set of knives is furnished with two cheeks with several knives fitted on at least two axles passed through knives and cheeks lengthwise cutouts. Axle is fitted at bottom part of each check to support gear engaged with one of toothed rack to move along it and fitted with the ledge arranged off-center with respect to its rotational axis. Vertical plate is secured on said ledge by its lower end, while lower end of said plate is secured on one of the axles that pass through knives and check lengthwise cutouts. Aforesaid glass has cover tightly jointed thereto and furnished with lengthwise cutouts identical to those of sidewalls and glass bottom and directed parallel with glass bottom lengthwise cutouts. Glass bottom and cover inner surfaces has knife guides to rule out bending of knives in cutting.
EFFECT: high quality of mincing, reduced cutting force.
