FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention represents recombinant thermostable DNA-ligase Thermococcus sp 1519 exhibiting ligase activity in the presence of magnesium ions, in a wide range of pH values (7.0-10.7) and sodium chloride concentrations (25-150 mM). Such ligase consists of 559 amino acids, has mass of 63 kDa determined by polyacryl gel electrophoresis, and contains amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO:2 reproduced of recombinant strain E.coli. Also the invention refers to DNA coding said ligase, and a method for producing ligase.
EFFECT: invention allows producing new DNA-ligase with the improved properties.
