FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists on that bearing outer race is locked by metal rod, while inner race is revolved by electric motor. Motor angular speed is measured. Acoustic oscillations generated by revolving bearing are converted into electric signal with the help of mike. Produced electric signal is processing with help of microcontroller to reveal belonging of measured parametres to sound and faulty states. Note here that electric signals are processed by calculating mutual correlation function of the signal that varies with oscillation rate and signal that varies with acoustic signal level.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of estimation.
