FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to electronic manometre and method of its functioning. Manometre contains cuff, fixed to place of blood pressure measurement, unit of pressure regulation applied to cuff, unit of registration of pressure inside cuff, unit of artery volume registration and measuring unit for regulation of artery volume of subject of measurement. Measuring unit includes unit of maintaining pressure, control unit with feedback for control of unit of pressure regulation and unit of withdrawal for pressure withdrawal. Method of manometre functioning lies in the following: pressure, at which amplitude of signal about artery of subject of measurement becomes maximal, is registered, registered pressure is supported inside cuff, pressure applied to cuff is regulated in such way that amplitude of signal about artery volume became minimal. As blood pressure, pressure inside cuff, at which amplitude becomes minimal, is taken.
EFFECT: invention allows to measure blood pressure by method of volume compensation determining control value for short period of time.
