SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to obstetrics. Sphygmogram is registered, rate of pulse wave spreading in m/sec (a) is calculated by formula: a=lotpP T" / 30 * Δt'dic where : lotp is length of aorta from subclavian or carotid artery to aorta bifurcation or to hip artery in m; P is pulse rate per minute; Δtdic is distance between two maximums of anacrotic and dicrotic waves on time axis in mm; T is distance between maximums of anacrotic waves on time axis in mm. If with growth of pregnancy term rate of pulse wave spreading decreases, physiological development of pregnancy is diagnosed, if no decrease is observed or rate grows, development of preeclampsia is predicted.

EFFECT: method extends arsenal of means for carrying out preclinical diagnostics of preeclampsia.
