FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly to continuous casting of steel. Proposed method comprises charging hot metal into crystalliser, forming billet crust with reduction and gauging of its surface in continuous ejection. Crystalliser vertical walls reciprocate, while inclined top section walls revolve. Deformed metal is additionally squeezed in crystalliser top section by vertical surfaces made on inclined top section walls that form crystalliser cavity.
EFFECT: higher process efficiency and quality of products.
