FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: cable has multiple conductor bundles where each conductor bundle contains at least one optical fibre either lying at the centre or on a helical line around the central axis of the conductor bundle, at least one metal conductor lying on a helical line around the central axis of the said conductor bundle, and additionally has at least one metallic conductor having a flat profile and one or more polymer insulating materials around the optical fibre and the metal conductor. One more version of the cable has at least one conductor bundle having metal conductors with an "arch keystone" profile, which form a channel which is resistant to buckling. The channel surrounds at least one optical fibre lying ether at the centre or on a helical line and at least one space filler. Additionally, at least one conductor bundle contains polymer insulating material around the channel which is resistant to buckling.

EFFECT: possibility of making a cable which contains optical fibre combined with metal conductors, which enables to withstand considerable tension.
