FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: elevator installation comprises several cabins accommodated in one shaft. Second cabin 14 is arranged above first cabin 12. Every cabin 12, 14 is furnished with drive 28, 44 with pulley 22, 41 and, at least, one rope run 18, 30, 31 running over pulley 22, 41 to joint cabin 12, 14 with counterweight 20, 33. Second cabin 14 is suspended in ratio 1:1 and connected with its counterweight 33 by two rope runs 30, 31 spaced apart on second cabin 14 and running over its rope drive pulley 41. Elevator installation 10 is provided with rope guides that loads uniformly both runs 30, 31 of second cabin 14. Guide comprises, at least, two deflecting blocks (35, 36, 38, 39, 45, 46) per each rope run. Sequence of rope direction change on appropriate pulleys (35, 38, 45; 36, 39, 46) and rope drive pulley 41, for both rope runs 30, 31 of second cabin 14 is identical.
EFFECT: reduced operating costs in replacement of worn-out ropes.
