FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: laser has an active element in form of a coaxial gas-discharge tube with an inner totally reflecting and semitransparent output mirrors in magnetised adjustment units in an axial magnetic field. The coating of the totally reflecting mirror is made from 30 alternating layers of tantalum pentoxide Ta2O5 and silicon dioxide SiO2. The coating of the output semitransparent mirror is made from 15-17 alternating layers of hafnium dioxide HfO2 and silicon dioxide SiO2. The output semitransparent mirror also has antireflection coating for wavelength λ=3.39 mcm and transmission of 1-3.5% for wavelength λ=0.63 mcm.
EFFECT: high laser radiation power with high differential frequency.
