SUBSTANCE: continuous casting crystalliser 1 has coolant duct 2. Said duct is made by crystalliser inner wall 3, its outer wall 4, RH lateral wall 5 and LH lateral wall 6. Said duct accommodate swirling elements made if the form of tetrahedrons, or horizontal steps, or wings. Said swirling elements are arranged to allow homogeneous mixing of coolant by increasing swirling effect nearby the wall and in jet central part area.
EFFECT: retarded recrystallisation or crystalliser material or coolant duct wall material.
