FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: separation method of mineral products into magnetic and non-magnetic parts involves pulp supply to upper part of helical chute with vertical axis, creation in separation zone of processing product of magnetic intensity, supply of washing water along the whole perimetre of internal chute flange, pulp flowing under action of gravity force downwards in the form of swirl flow of various depth through the cross section, concentration under action of centrifugal forces of minerals with increased density at internal flange of the chute, and light minerals at external flange of chute, and withdrawal of processing product. Magnetic system for creation of magnetic intensity is located inside helical chute. Value of magnetic field intensity in separation zone of processing product is adjusted within 1600001 A/m to 1671180 A/m.
EFFECT: increasing separation efficiency.
