FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: there proposed is a fuel supply control device for diesel engine control, with the help of which by means of simple control regarding residual oxygen in exhaust gas (EGR) there achieved is a compatibility between exhaust gas characteristics and engine rotation frequency characteristics. Diesel engine control device includes exhaust gas recirculation system (EGR) that returns part of engine exhaust gas into engine intake air system. Note that control device includes: device (47) for calculating excessive air design factor λs that is an arithmetic section for calculating excessive air design factor λs by fuel quantity injected by fuel injection valve (31) into cylinder (3), intake air consumption measured by air flow rate (35) and consumption of residual oxygen in EGR that is returned to intake air system; and device (33) or (51) of fuel supply control that controls fuel consumption at rapid acceleration on the basis of excessive air design factor λs that is calculated by excessive air design factor λs calculating device.
EFFECT: improvement of quick start characteristic by means of elimination of considerable reduction of engine rotation frequency.
