EFFECT: providing a channel for passage of air flow past the porous material of the carrier, without using openings of the porous material of the carrier; increased capacity of porous material of carrier for storage of liquid substrate, which forms aerosol; increased area of contact between porous carrier material and liquid substrate forming aerosol; increased delivery of aerosol-forming substrate for porous carrier material.
