FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for welding complex axially symmetric structures from aluminium alloys including bulky and thin-wall elements. Structure to be welded comprises baffles with face bases, of the latter being welded to case. One of said baffle is solid and includes lengthwise rectangular openings arranged along central axis with preset spacing T and stops made at tail section. Two other baffles have retainers made along inner generating line with spacing 2T and mutual displacement by spacing T. Baffles preassembled at 90° are, first, welded at points of fixation in openings and, then, with front base bush. Perforated thin-wall case is fitted into baffle tail section against the stop to make temporary gaps between baffle faces and rear base. Bases are first welded together by discrete staggered seams and, then, baffle faces are welded to rear base. Front base ring is automatically welded along spigot joint.

EFFECT: sufficient strength, longitudinal straightness, and ease of fabrication.
