FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: device includes at least two current-leading insulated conductors enveloped with sensitive elements - coils from optic fibre, device for introducing polarised light signal to their optic fibre and device for its separation, which are optically connected to coil and included in measuring-converter unit. Conductors with coils from optic fibre are enclosed in terminal box; coils have various number of turns, which is made on an accrual basis, and their inlet and outlet ends are grouped and taken outside the terminal box. Optical communication of sensitive elements - coils with the device for introducing to the optic fibre of polarised light signal and with device for its separation is performed by means of the corresponding groups of input and output ends of coils of the appropriate optical dividers, one common multi-strand fibre optic cable and the appropriate optic connectors. Processing algorithm of measuring signal has been implemented in measuring and converting unit by means of programme code entered to microcontroller memory.
EFFECT: decreasing overall dimensions of transformer to provide the possibilities of its further integration into the existing electric systems, the possibility of operating one device simultaneously in several current lines; ease of use and operability.
