FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely thoracic surgery, and can be used in treating tracheal cicatricial stenoses. The method involves tracheal intubation with a rigid bronchoscope tube. A radio wave electrode in the form of a metal core is introduced. On a distal end of the core, there is a tungsten needle and a limiter, while a proximal end comprises a handle with a cutting needle position mark and a connection to a radio wave generator of electromagnetic oscillation frequency 3.8-4.0 MHz. A distal portion of the electrode is delivered behind a stenosis region and dissected with pulling.
EFFECT: use of the given invention enables contactless radio-wave dissection of tracheal cicatricial stenoses, eliminating burn and necrosis of surrounding tissues.
