FIELD: metal working.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal working, particularly, to machining inner surfaces of axially symmetric parts on lathes. Device for cutting holes of axisymmetric parts comprises hydraulic power drive for moving cutters in radial direction, made in the form of a modular housing consisting of two cylinders with two power chambers and two return chambers of cutters. Cutters are secured in two hollow piston rods. Four chambers of hydraulic cylinders are equipped with seals made with two-layer folds and made of elastic material. Automatic control system for machining process comprises control unit with two circuits: cutter displacement control circuit and cutter wear control circuit. Cutter displacement control circuit includes two linear displacement transducers fixed on ends of piston rods relative to ends of housing covers. Second wear control circuit includes a linear displacement sensor fixed on the housing cover relative to the inner surface of the machined hole.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy and quality of machining by automatically controlling the stabilization of cutter tips during the turning process, taking into account the amount of dimensional wear.
