FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly, to diesel locomotive electric power transmission control. Locomotive comprises self-contained thermal engine, AC generator, controlled rectifiers and DC motors. Proposed method comprises generating artificial stringent speed characteristics for traction motors by separate control of voltage fed to said motors. Proposed method allows generating, for every traction motor, the elementary voltage-current characteristics of controlled rectifier for constant traction motor rpm the level of which is defined subject to integral of mismatch between preset and measured positions of diesel engine fuel dispenser in conditions of no-slippage and in conditions of the slippage beginning.
EFFECT: higher traction and stabilised slippage conditions.
