FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly, to control over electric traction transmission of shunting diesel locomotives operated at low speeds. In technological operation, synchronous traction generator voltage is fed via controlled rectifier to, at least, one traction motor coupled by clutch with distribution reduction gear. Traction motor drives mounted axles. Said traction motor is coupled with distribution reduction gearbox via kinematic reducer gears. Traction motors are connected to outputs of cathode and anode groups of controlled rectifier thyristors. Traction motor windings are switched to make polarity of excitation windings inverse relative to each other. Traction synchronous generator voltage is fed to traction motors. Mounted axle rpm is set and measured to compare measured rpm with preset one so that mismatch may be used to vary supply voltage so that mounted axle rpm equals preset magnitude. Note here that controlled rectifier thyristor open angle is varied.
EFFECT: higher reliability of electric transmission, reduced wear of brake shoes.
