SUBSTANCE: configuration method for absolute grant translation table includes the following: radio network controller notifies base station about absolute grant translation table used by enhanced dedicated channel absolute grant channel (E-AGCH) by means of signaling; base station returns reply message to radio network controller after saving configuration information. This invention allows absolute grant translation table used by base station to be compatible with absolute grant translation table about which user equipment is notified via air interface in order in ensure that absolute grant values corresponding to base station and user equipment are obtained from the same absolute grant translation table, i.e. from table of relation between absolute grant value and index so that allocation and employment of power resources by base station and user equipment is reconciled and thus effective employment of power resources and system security is provided.
