FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology and, in particular, to preclinical diagnostics of ophthalmic nerve atrophy (ONA) in children and can be used in examination of children of first year of life. Hemodynamic parameters of internal eye membrane are measured by ultrasonic device "Sonomed-300 m" and resistance index (RI) in ophthalmic artery (OA) is determined, after that, index of unconsumed oxygen (Sm%) is registered by device LAKK-2 (Russia) and ischemically hypoxic index (IHI) of eye is calculated, which is used to determine absence, doubtful diagnosis or presence of ONA in children of first year of life.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to ensure early identification of ONA.
