FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and may be used in machining flat, cylindrical and shaped surfaces by diamond abrasive sticks. Rod with abrasive diamond sticks is driven by two discs revolving in opposite directions. Rod rectangular slots accommodate abrasive diamond sticks with uniform clearances along a slot base perimetre. Ends of said sticks are arranged on two parallel springs so that their axes are located in planes perpendicular to lengthwise axes of symmetry of the sticks. Every end of said sticks are arranged on moving hinged support and spaced apart on both sides of stick axis of symmetry to allow displacement on side surfaces of slots in spring plane.
EFFECT: expanded operating performances, higher efficiency.
