FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to a method for producing a polymer conjugate of isonicotinic acid hydrazone applied as an anti-tuberculosis drug. The specified method consists in preparing 6-13 wt % pre-purified low-molecular chitosan in aqueous acetic acid with added 40% aqueous formaldehyde. The system is dispersed for 30 minutes at 25°C and for 60 minutes at 70°C. Further, the system is added with 1.5 mole chitosan-related isonicotinic acid hydrazide and acetyl chloride in a catalytic amount. The mixture is mixed and heated at 70°C for 5 hours. The prepared reaction mass is treated under vacuum; a solid residue is extracted in ethanol and dried.
EFFECT: higher drug adsorption in macrophages and its biodegradability.
