FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: cutting plate has top, bottom and peripheral surfaces. Peripheral surface extends between top and bottom surfaces and has first pair of opposed first side surfaces and second pair of opposed second side surfaces. Note here that every first side surface is conjugated with every adjacent second side surface along angular side surface. Cutting edge is located on intersection of every first side surface and top surface. Intersection of every angular side surface with top surface makes cutting angle. Every cutting edge on first end is conjugated with conservative cutting angle and, on second end, with raised angle to correspond to front surface extending therefrom toward top surface. Note here that cutting edges are inclined toward cutting plate on side view. Front surface inner section, distant from cutting edge, makes the main chip breaker with top end whereat distance from every end part to bottom surface exceeds that from bottom surface to appropriate part of cutting edge located on straight line perpendicular to cutting edge and extending there through. Note also that front surface first end, nearby raised angle, auxiliary chip breaker is made to extend from adjacent raised angle to main chip breaker.
EFFECT: better chip breaking.
