FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: image capturing unit captures a formed image. A shutter unit opens and closes a rectangular aperture through turning shutter blades. The shutter blades move in mutually opposite directions perpendicular to the longer side of the aperture. The shutter blades move in mutually opposite directions perpendicular to the longer side of the aperture. When the shutter blades begin to shield the aperture, parts of their edges which close the aperture lie in parallel to said longer side of the aperture.

EFFECT: balanced shielding of the aperture.
