FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: elimination of stretching residual stresses on metal products surface is done via the influence of pulsing subsonic air flow with frequency 1130-2100 Hz and sound pressure 120-140 dB at ambient temperature. Elimination of stretching residual stresses on surface is carried out without thermal treatment.
EFFECT: extension of the range of processed metal items, improvement of their reliability and life-time.
