SUBSTANCE: steel is subjected to quenching for martensite in pulsing air flow with frequency up to 2300 Hz and sound pressure up to 145 dB, ensuring cooling rate above critical quenching rate, with further action on it of the pulse subsonic air flow, with frequency 1130-2100 Hz and sound pressure 120-140 dB at room temperature, per single operation without the treated product movement.
EFFECT: increased treatment capacity, hardness with reduced quenching stresses and strains.
