FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: method involves: step (A) for transmitting from a mobile station to a radio base station a reconnection request signal upon detection of breakdown of the radio communication channel, and step (B) for resetting the radio communication channel between the mobile station and the radio base station in response to transmission of the reconnection request signal. At step (B), the radio base station sends to the mobile station a reconnection acknowledgment signal, containing an index parameter for identifying a second key which serves for calculating a first key meant for generating a permanent key to be used in the radio base station after the reconnection operation, and the mobile station calculates the first key to be stored in the mobile station using the second key identified by the index parameter contained in the received reconnection acknowledgement signal.
EFFECT: generation of a first key using a simple operation.
