FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to driver for chain (STi) of in-series connected LED (D1i, D2i, D3i), at least two of which emit the light having different spectra. Driver contains primary power supply (PAi) the outputs of which are connected to chain (STi) for supply of the main current (IAi) to chain (STi). Secondary power supply (PBi) is connected at least to one of points (J1i) between series LED (D1i, D2i) in chain (STi) for supply or removal of delta current (IBi) from point (J1i). Delta current (IBi) is at least by 5 times less than the main current (IAi). Controller (CO) controls secondary power supply (PBi) for formation of delta current (IBi) in order to obtain the required spectral composition of mixed light emitted with chain (STi).
EFFECT: reduction of emitted light pulsations at maintaining the possibility of controlling the spectral composition of resultant mixing light.
