FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to compounds of formula (I) and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts possessing the properties of a MMP12 inhibitor, a method for preparing them, an intermediate compound of formula (III), a pharmaceutical composition, a method for preparing it, using the compounds of formula (I) and versions of methods of treating with the use of the compounds of formula (I). The compounds may be used for treating the MMP12-mediated diseases, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. In formula 
(I) and 
(III) R1 represents H, CH3, CH3CH2, CF3 or cyclopropyl; and R2 represents H or CH3.
EFFECT: higher clinical effectiveness.
